Energy Performance Certificate
Since 14th December 2007 Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's) are a mandatory part of the Home Information Pack (HIP).The EPC will tell you how energy efficient your property is and will give recommendations for improving the efficiency. EPC assessments can only be carried out by a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) or Home Inspector (HI).
